Just a reminder to you all that our first event of the year will be held on Easter Sunday 16th April at the Clay Hill venue, opposite Tenterden Golf Club.
For those that would like to qualify for SE Championship points and overall awards please send your entries asap. Entry form attached, remember to specify excatly what class you would like to be entered as, not just the route. Full details can be found in March and Aprils SM magazine.
This trial will also accomodate the next round of the Inta Motorcycles “Youth Series” so a suitable route will also be available for the younger and beginner riders.

Following last weekends club championship round the aggregates have been updated CLICK HERE. Mark Smith leads the expert aggregates, Micheal Hollyer the intermediate, Pete Southcott the novice, Rodger Beck the over 40, with Oliver Whorlow the youth aggregates. Sunday saw a brilliant East Kent Combine Trial run by our friends at the Folkestone club at Harbledown, a good mix of manufactured man made sections with logs and rocks and a collection of stream and camber sections. The trial was rewarded with good weather and a decent entry of over 50 riders. A link to the results HERE on the Folkestone site. Well done to the Folkestone Team who had clearly put in a lot of effort in setting out the trial.
Over the next few weeks there are several East Kent trials taking place including our own Weald Non Expert Trial on the 16th of April. Entries available via Sporting Motorcyclist or online for those linked below.

The next East Kent Trial will be the East Kent Combine Trial which is run by our friends at the Folkestone club and will take place at Bigbury Woods, Harbledown (parking at China Farm) on Sunday the 12th of March, start time 10.30am, entries available in Feb TSM.
Over 150 people attended the 2017 club horse race and presentation evening last night at Bethersden Village Hall in what was once again a fun night for all ages who attended.
The club aggregate awards and 2016 trial winners trophies were presented by the clubs President Roy Francis, along with 18 youth trophies from the successful youth series that was run last year (2017 youth dates in article below)
A huge thankyou to the sponsors who kindly supplied prizes for the evening and those who supplied prizes for the raffle which included Inta Motorcycles, Freestyle, Acklams Beta, Splatshop, Inch Perfect Trials, Malcolm Rathmell Sport (MRS), Oset Bikes, CIS Sport, Chapel Down vineyards, Trial Mag, Putoline, Gas Gas UK, Beta UK, Vertigo Motors and many of the committee and club members.
Thank you for supporting the club and we look forward to another great year in 2017.

CANCELLED DUE TO WATERLOGGED PARKING – According to GEST website
This Sunday sees the GEST club run the February East Kent Combine trial, this has not been advertised in this month’s Sporting Motorcyclist Magazine due to an admin oversight but is still on.
The trial will take place on Sunday with a start time at 10.30am at the usual piece of land located adjacent to the A28 at Northiam, it will be signposted and you can’t miss it. The venue is an excellent piece of ground and there will be 4 routes as usual including a beginner route for all our newer riders.
Naturally entries will be taken on the day and all entries will count towards the aggregates and club championship
85 riders entered for this Sundays South East Centre Walker Memorial Trial run by our friends at Sittingbourne MCC. Start is at Wrinstead Court Farm, Ringlestone Rd, Nr Doddington, Post Code ME9 0EA. Signposted from Doddington Village and the top of Hollingbourne Hill. Late entries available on the day. The trial will consist of 3 laps of 14 sections.
